Classical, Acoustic and Electric Guitar
Alison Galea, née Pace, started playing the guitar at the age of six. She was born into music from the very beginning as her father is guitarist Mro. Tony Pace. Her father, in fact, taught her guitar up to diploma level. He was such a great inspiration to her that today she only works in the music industry.
Alison is a commerce graduate (B.Com) and has a music teaching diploma (DipLCM). She spent 10 years working at the National Statistics Office before becoming a full time guitar teacher.
She started teaching the guitar at the age of 17, for a few years under her father’s supervision, then on her own. She has been teaching classical, acoustic and electric guitar for 25 years. Over the past 12 years, her full-time job has been that of a music teacher in the studios that she runs. Throughout her teaching career, she has presented a large number of students for various examination boards, where students pass with high marks. On several occasions, her students had the opportunity to perform at major events, like Notte Bianca and The Voice Kids Malta. As a guitarist, she is from time to time invited to television programs and performs in local concerts. In the past, she had worked for many years in the field of entertainment related to weddings too.
